Privacy Policy
What we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Effective date: 25 July 2026
1. Who we are
Veritas & Luman Media ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. We are a technology and entertainment holding company based in Washington, DC, United States. This policy explains what we do with information collected through this website.
It covers this website only. Our operating companies and platforms — including Listn Base, Listn Music, BOOKD and AURIUM — have their own terms and privacy notices covering the data handled inside those products.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form or the investor enquiry form, we collect the information you type into it:
- your name
- your email address
- your company, firm or artist name, if you provide one
- the topic or enquiry type you select
- the content of your message
Only your name, email address and message are required. Everything else is optional.
Information collected automatically
When you submit a form we also record the IP address the submission came from and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to prevent automated abuse of the form and for nothing else.
Our web host keeps standard server logs of requests to this site — including IP addresses, pages requested, timestamps and referring pages — as a normal part of operating and securing a web server.
What we do not collect
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics tracking pixels, or third-party marketing scripts on this website. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information.
3. How we use it
- To reply to you. Enquiries are emailed to us and stored so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.
- To evaluate business and investment enquiries. Information submitted through the investor form is used to assess and follow up on that enquiry.
- To keep the site working and secure. IP addresses and server logs help us block spam and abuse.
We do not use your information to send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
4. Why we are allowed to use it
Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries you send us, and protecting the site from abuse.
- Taking steps at your request before entering a contract — where your enquiry concerns a possible business relationship.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not use tracking pixels.
A single session cookie is set only for administrators who sign in to the site's content editor. It is not set for ordinary visitors and is deleted when the administrator signs out.
6. Third-party services
Google Fonts. This site loads its typeface from Google's font servers. When your browser requests those files, your IP address is transmitted to Google. We do not control that processing; see Google's privacy policy for details.
Web hosting. The site is hosted on a commercial web hosting service in the United States, which processes server logs and email on our behalf.
Email. Enquiries are delivered to our own mailboxes and pass through our mail provider's infrastructure.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
We share it only with:
- service providers who host our website and deliver our email, acting on our instructions;
- our operating companies, where your enquiry concerns their business and needs to be routed to them;
- professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where necessary;
- authorities, where we are legally required to do so.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the business relationship or its record is useful, and are deleted on request. Automated backups of the site may retain copies for a limited period after deletion. Abuse-prevention records such as IP rate-limit data are kept for one hour.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:
- confirm what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete information we no longer need to keep;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format.
Email us at info@mlgmusic.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We will never charge you for making a request or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
10. Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a location that is not publicly accessible, and administrative access is password-protected. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information — financial account details, identification numbers, health information — through the website forms.
11. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International visitors
We are based in the United States and our website and email are hosted there. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your own country.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted here.
